William J. Zagrapan of Dunmore died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at home
Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Methodius and Anastasia
(Stadner) Zagrapan. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School and Marywood
University, where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree in communications
arts. Prior to his disability, he was employed at Paramount Studios, and
had previously worked at Alysan Studios. He had been a radio producer for
the local Harry West Show. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan, and
loved his dog Winston. He was a member of All Saints Church, Dunmore.
Surviving are three brothers, Robert and his wife, Roseann Zagrapan,
Wilkes-Barre; Joseph and his wife, Michelle Zagrapan, Virginia; Michael
Strumsky, Dunmore; sister, Veronica and her husband, Joseph Kollra,
Scranton; three nieces, Mary Kollra, Scranton; Anastasia Amielo, New York
City; Ann Zagrapan, London, England; a great-niece, Taormina Amielo.
The funeral will be at Tuesday from Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc.,
1030 N. Main Ave., Scranton, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. in All Saints Church,
Ward Street, Dunmore. Interment will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Dunmore.
