Petroney Matthews

Petroney P. "Pat" Matthews, 84, of Oak Hill, Lehman Township, passed away
Friday at Hospice Community Care, Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Askam, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary
(Andruskevicuis) Cvilik. She was a graduate of Hanover Township High
School. She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Preceding her in
death were her husband, Frank E.; son, Michael; brothers and sisters.

Surviving are sons, Mark M. and wife, Sandi, Arnold, Md.; David M. and
wife, Lynn, Villanova; daughter-in-law, Diane Matthews, Shavertown;
brother, Albert Cvilik, Breslau; grandchildren, Krystle Matthews,
Shavertown; Amy Matthews, Pasadena, Md.; Suzie Matthews, Washington, D.C.;
Alysse Matthews and David Matthews, both of Villanova.

Funeral services will be private with interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery,
Bear Creek. There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
Arrangements are by the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial
Highway, Dallas.
