Not only has this digressed off-topic, it has become anti-Semitic
anti-Jewish bigotry of the worst stripe. Yes, it is true that the Soviets
turned over captured Polish officers to the Nazis, some 10,000 POWs, who
were then massacred in the Katyn Forest - their hands were tied with Russian
rope, but they were shot with German bullets - (the book "Death in the
Forest" describes the evidence that shows how the Soviets and Nazis worked
together, and then against each other, to kill the Polish officer corps).
The only time Polish Jews ever got blood on their hands was when they took
up arms in the Warsaw Uprising, to kill the SS and Wehrmacht soldiers sent
in to destroy the jewish ghetto and then the city. Yet in other parts of
Poland locals assisted the SS brigades in rounding up local jews, and in one
documented instance, locked the jews in a barn and set fire to it, with the
SS watching. Read Goldhagens' "Hitler's Willing Executioners!" - there is
no jewish conspiracy to blame Poland or any one else - the evidence exists
for review by anyone - and is not there to be re-written by bigots!!
