Looking for any family history or remaining European relatives on my
grandfather's family:

POITR KRUPINSKI
Religion: Catholic - Parish: Olkowicze
born 12/10/1875 to ALEXANDER and MARCELLA (maiden name CHERAK) KRUPINSKI
Village: Smorkowa (near the Lithuanian border) in what is now Belarus

his wife:
EDVIKA KRUPSKY
Religion: Catholic - Parish: Olkowicze
born: date unknown to STANLEY and KAZIEMERA (maiden name STANKEVICH) KRUPSKY
Village: Rakszyce (near the Lithuanian border) in what is now Belarus

I haven't been able to find Smokowa on any map - it may have merged with
other villages.

Poitr had some siblings who stayed behind when he left in 1912.
Among them:
- John(Jan) Krupinski - last known had a farm near Vilno.
- Mary(Maria) Krupinska - (married Jan Marchinkeotz(?kewitz)) last known had
a farm near Vilno.
- Bronka Krupinska - (married Jerry Burak) had 4 boys Edmund, Edward, Julius
& Harry - She and they boys were unable to leave to join him in the US when
the 1917 revolution broke out. Later word from Edward who served in the
Polish army that Bronka was sent to Siberia by the Russians -- no further
ever heard of her
- Stacia Krupinska - married a Baranowski - last known residence was in East
Germany.

Does anyone know how I would contact the catholic church in Belarus or
Poland to find out if there are any records relating to the above family?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Michael Casimir Krupinsky
