My mother's mother, parents and brothers and sisters immigrated from then
Prussia in 1874 on the ship Lessing sailing from Hamburg to New York,
May 28,1874. Settled in McKeesport, PA. Prussian village was Lautensee
(German speaking) and according to a cross-reference directory in the
Library of Congress is now Jeziorno in Poland. My grandmother Mary or
Maria Zebrovius, Maria's father and mother Gottfried and Louise. Got
some helpful church records from nearby Christburg, Prussia (don't know
the Polish town name now). Thanks for any help.
