Hi Cory,
Here's some more vague information: I have a James Peterkin who married Jane
Ann Hird and had three children: Edward, Weilliam Herland and Mary
Elizabeth.The only details I have is that Jane Ann Hird was born 25-May-1834
at North River, St. Scholastique, QC, and died 16-Jul-1901 at Mascouche, QC.

St. Scholastique is about 60 miles north-west of Montreal, near Lachute.
Mascouche lies to the North-East of Laval.
