There would be no more children for Robert and Catherine after 1910 as
Catherine would have been 50 Kate Valentina and George Perrin had at least 5
children. baptised in various churches. Samuel George b 1918 McEwan Earl b
1921 Walter James b 1923 Ada Margaret Marion b 1926 Henry Gordon b 1932 d
2008 In 2009 an "In Memory" was published in the Montreal Gazette for Henry.
This said in loving memory of our brother Earl, Margaret and Robert. So I
feel this is the correct family.

I have the attestation paper for Samuel Moody Parry

Baptisms of other two children of Robert Parry & Kate Carson as listed in
1911 Canada Census.



Kate Valentina Parry born 14 February 1899 and baptised at Montréal
(Anglican Saint Luke)



There is a transcription error in the 1911 Canada Census which gives the son
Robert the initial H. but the baptism identifies his full name as Robert
Unsworth Parry, born 3rd June 1896 at Montréal (Anglican Saint Luke).



Montréal (Presbyterian Taylor) > 1917 - April 7

Kate Valentina Parry daughter of Robert Parry and Kate Carson married George
Henry Perrin son of George Henry Perrin and Margaret Kenny all of Montreal.

NB: Lovell's Montreal Directory (1922) shows a George Perrin, tailor at 616
Garnier Street, Montreal - son or father? I also checked subsequent years
in the parish of the marriage for any baptisms but no success.



I previously sent the baptism of Samuel and of Jessie and her burial info.
I've checked Saint-Luke's Anglican registers up to and including 1910 and
have not seen additional entries for this surname. The family may have moved
from that district or no other baptisms took place.

Check the site and give your contact email and they will reply.





Samuel Moody Parry lived at 283 Delormier street in Montreal at the time of
joining the CEF when he was 17 1/2 years old and gave his mother at the same
address as his next of kin.

As the 1911 Canada Census is the last available one there isn't an easy way
to find the grandchildren of Robert Parry & Kate Carson.



I did not find the Parry family nor the Perrin family in Lovell's Montreal
directory for 1975 so perhaps they had moved out of the City.
