I found nothing in Willard Heiss and Thomas Hamm's
Quaker_Genealogies:_A_Selected_List_of_Books (Boston: New England
Historic Genealogical Society, 1985) for the NEWTON surname but found
the following for PHILLIPS
PHILIPS, 844 -- WHITE. Your family, an informal account of the
ancestry of Allen Kirby White and Emma Chambers White, by Emma Chambers
White, Rutland, VT (1941?). 196 p.
PHILLIPS, 906 -- Early Friends of Upper Bucks, with some account of
their descendants... by Clarence V. Roberts, Philadelphia, 1925. x. 680
p.
