I am seeking further information on Jesse KINSEY. The following information
came from a book by one of his descendants.

Jesse KINSEY was a Quaker and when the Rev. War broke out, his
family went to Canada to avoid the conflict. When in his teens, Jesse
decided to return to America and walked to KY with only a gun and a pair
of linen britches. He arrived in 1796. This was a story he told his
young son Josiah, years later. He built a home on the Chaplin River in
Washington Co. He had 14 children with the two wives, two girls being
born after he was 70.

Jesse was married to Maregarita "Peggy" SORTORE and Margaret DENNIS.

I have alot of information on Jesse's descendants and would be happy to
share that with anyone interested. Any further information on Jesse's
parents or other ancestors will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
