Hi Everyone!

This is probably a long shot, but one never knows...

I am searching for any info on a MICAJAH WALKER and his wife, JENNY
(a.k.a. JANE) ANDERSON. We have very little data on the two.

Micajah was born around 1783 (we think in either VA or Ireland?), and
was raised by a JOSEPH and PHEBE PAYNE (Phebe's maiden name was
(OFFILL), for what reason I have no idea. I figured that if I could
discover why he lived with the Payne family, I might just learn who his
parents were. He married Jenny in Bedford Co. VA in 1803, and we have
reason to believe that her father, DAVID ANDERSON was from the Bedford/
Rockbridge VA area, or there abouts. There is a good possibility that
Micajah's own parents were Quaker, since the name Micajah is found
frequently in their records, and is virtually invisable elsewhere. (In
my father's 30 some-odd years of searching for Micajah's parents, he
only found eight Micajah's. When we found a Quaker record at a FHC,
there were countless men by this name.) Our Micajah and Jenny moved on
to Hawkins Co. Tennessee.

Micajah and Jenny's children included:

SARAH CAROLINE WALKER, b 1826 Hawkins Co., TN; m JAMES K. P. HOWARD 6
Nov 1852 Van Buren Co., TN; d 22 May 1888

DAVID A. WALKER, b 28 Feb 1804 in Hawkins Co., TN; m MARY ANN (POLLY)
STULTZE; d 5 Mar 1856

ROBERT WALKER, b 1810 of Hawkins Co, TN; d 6 Oct 1851, Van Buren Co, TN

JOSEPH H. WALKER, b abt 1813; m 1) MAMIE ELIZABETH SIMMONS 18 Jul 1855
Van Buren Co., TN 2) CATHARINE ; d 22 Jun 1892 Van Buren Co., TN

MICAJAH D. WALKER, b 1821, of Hawkins Co., TN; m 1) SYNTHA MEASLES
26 Dec 1840 Van Buren Co., TN 2) MITILDA McCLURE 13 May 1854

EMMALINE JANE WALKER, b 2 Dec 1823 of Van Buren Co., TN; m RICHARD
MEASLES, abt 1839; d 5 Aug 1901 Van Buren Co., TN

What do you think? Does anyone find a link here?

Laura

PS: This being my first time at this site, does anyone of any
suggestions as to where to go from here?
