I have the wills of three Marmaduke Coates, all of Burlington County...

1750, Jan. 5. Coates, Marmaduke, of Burlington Co. Int. Administration
granted to Rebecca Coates, widow. Robert Hartshorne, att-at-law, fellow
bondsman.

1749, May 7. Coats, Marmaduke, of Mansfield, Burlington Co., house
carpenter; will of. Wife, Sarah, tract in the mountains at Kingwood,
Bethlehem Township, to enable her to bring up child John and expected child.
Plantation in Mansfield I bought of John gibbs. Executors -- wife, and
brother John coats. Witnesses -- John buffin, Ann Buffin, Joseph Pope.
Proved May 31, 1749.

1728 Nov. 6. Coate, Marmaduke, of Burlington, yeoman; will of. Wife Ann.
Children--William, Mary wife of Caleb Raper, Edy, wife of Thomas Newbould,
Hannah, wife of Isaac Cooper; grand-children--Michall Neubould and Ann
Cooper. Legacies to Abraham Farrington, of Chesterfield, Peter Fearon and
Friends Monthly Meeting at Burlington. Farm in New Hanover Township, said
Co., house with 5-6 acres in Hambridge, Corivial Parish, Sumerset Shire,
England, lately occupied by James Tilley, farm in Springrield Township, said
Co, adjoining John Sholy, 500 acres in Pennsalvania, near White Marsh.
Personal estate. The wife sole executrix. Witnesses--Sam Scattergood,
Sam'l Cox, Thomas Scattergood. Proved March 10, 1728-9.

1728-0 Mar. 4. Inventory of the personal estate, 1253.19.5 1/2, incl. bonds,
bills and book debts, 679.5.11 1/2, 2 negro slaves, 80; made by John Schooley
and Tho; Scattergood.

1723 Nov. 22. Samuel Coate of Amwell, Hunterdon., gentleman; will
of....names son Marmaduke among others.

1729-30 Jan. 3. Ann Coat of Burlington, widow (of Marmaduke will dated
11/6/1728)...names Grandsons, Marmaduke Coat, Michael Newbould, and others...

Jan 31, 1735-6...Marmaduke Coate of Bethlehem was bondsman for the estate of
Samuel Coate.

1749, Dec. 15. coate, William of Wellinborough, Burlington Co., yeoman; will
of...mentions sons Barzilla, Israel, Marmaduke and William. Daughters Ann,
Hannah, Rachel, Mary, Bulah and Edith...father Marmaduke.,..

Marmaduke Coate, d. 15th da, 12th mo, 1728/9, an elder, buried at Friends
Burying Ground in Burlington.
Anne Coate, wife of Marmaduke Coate, d. 4th da, 11th mo, 1729 burried at
Friends Burying Grounds in Burlington.

Certificates of Removal (Recieved and Issued) of Burlington MM
29th da, 11th mo, 1717 for Marmaduke Coate and his wife from England.

25th da, 3rd mo, 1715 for Marmaduke Coate and wife of So. Sutton for the
South Division in the county of Somerset.

servant to Marmaduke Coate of Burlington County m. 16th da, 12th mo, 1720.
