I have been reading this list for awhile and I feel like I am attending
a few family reunions! I find I read everything word for word.
I have a 5 great grandfather that was first in Bucks County, PA.
Most of my early information on him comes from other researchers and I
haven't proved it yet. I decided finding any Quaker records would be my
first step.
Ulrich Ruble was b. in Germany and came to the States circa 1925. He is
suppose to have married after he came to the states. Her given name is
Jane but we don't have a surname yet. Some researchers think it very
likely that it was Pugh as the Rubles and Pughs seemed to follow each
other around.
We don't know if he was a Quaker before he married Jane but she and all
their children were Quakers.
Is there any records of Quakers from tha late 1720 to mid 1730 in Bucks
and/or Lancaster County, and perhaps Washington County. Pa? They later
moved to the Back Creek area of Frederick County Virginia.
How do I go about finding it?
As far as I know he is the only Ruble that immigrated so I am collecting
information on all Rubles.
Thank you for a great list and for any help you can give me.
Joanna
