Hello everyone,

I visited the Summerton MH in a country area called Holland Virginia
yesterday.

It has a sign posted stating that it was started in 1672. There no one there.

My understanding is that Chuckatuck was the first MH in Virginia and that
George Fox himself started it on his 1673 visit. However, in the small
town of Chuckatuck about 15 miles away, there is no marker or any evidence
that there ever was MH in Chuckatuck. The older (80+) locals never heard
of one either. Could it be that Summerton and the one referenced in
Hinshaws as Chuckatuck are one in the same?
