I notice there is some Collins activity on the list at the moment
and so thought that I would ask about a Collins relation of mine.
According to the History of the Harlan Family:

James A. COLLINS b. 13 Sep 1770 Delaware d. 10 Sep 1833
Poplar Town, Worcester Co., Maryland; married c. 1820
Martha DAVIS b. 20 Aug. 1779 Worcester Co., MD. d. 16 Jul
1840 Morganfield, Kentucky. Had at least one child:
Thomas K. COLLINS b. 20 Aug 1822 Worcester Co., MD. d.
27 Feb 1885 Hannibal, MO; married 26 May 1847 Hannibal, MO.
Lydia Eliza RICHARDS b. 6 Dec 1824 New Garden twp., Chester
Co.,, PA. d. 13 Jul 1885 Hannibal, MO.

I do know that Lydia was a Quaker but she married Thomas,
a Presbyterian. I thought that it is possible that James A.
Collins might have been a Quaker or perhaps his parents.
Does anyone know this Collins family? - Ed
