I have been looking for several years for the ancestors of Edward Aaronson
born ca. 1771 in Burlington NJ. I know he married Lettice Hancock and died 21
March 1852. He was my grgrgr grandfather and I'v had no luck.
I do have one clue in a note I have found written by Anna Brown Ivins who was
the wife of Edward's grandson, Edward Aaronson Ivins. The note says
"Edward Aaronson your Great Great Grand Father. I do not know the date. He
was a resident of New Jersey, I think Colombus. If any of my children have
curiosity enough to want to know the history of this ____ or of your Great
Great Grandfather, I think John Tatum's widow has the Phebe Burgess family
papers which would give an account of all you would like to know"
Does anyone know of any Phebe Burgess papers? Is there anyone from her
family who knows anything about this?
I am so hoping that someone can help me find this information.
