I was recently contacted by someone looking for the following
information. Can anyone help?

Tacy Sincock/Simcock who m. William Rushton/Rustin 1756 at Olde Swedes
Church either in Philadelphia or Maryland (churches by that name in
both places, I presume).

Tacy was supposedly dau. of Benjamin Sin(m)cock. The Rustins
eventually moved south into NC-Chatham & Randolph Co. areas. The Tacy
name is carried on by several other surnames into which the Rustin
females married. Mesina is another name used by these families.

Tacy and William's children married Whites, Darbys, Doughertys, Lambs,
Moads, etc.

Does anyone know if the Sincock name is the same as Simcock, or a
distinct name?
