Hello:

Does anyone have information relating to Quakerism in southern Illinois in
the very early 19th century?

My great grandfather was born into the family of either James or Richard
Davis in 1799/1800, probably in the Massac area, and may have been related
to the Bissell family of the same time and place.

Any related information would be most welcome.
