Samuel Wilson and wife Keziah (Lamb) were part of the Perquimans
Co., NC Quakers. {Wilsons were Quakers in Perquimans Co. NC as
early as 1683 but don't know which of Samuels group connects in
with them. Samuel's parents were Joseph Wilson and Lydia
Albertson. Joseph's father was John Wilson.}

Family rqct April 3, 1824, to White Water MM, Washington Co.,
IND. Not sure if they went there. They arrived in Wayne Co.,
IND. in 1824 but not sure of date. They may have gone to
Washington Co first and then to Wayne Co, but may have only
gotten as far as Wayne Co. and stopped.

Son Nathan Wilson (1820-1855) married Minerva Lewis in Wayne Co
in 1840. They apparently were not Quakers in Wayne Co but helped
to start the United Brethren Church at Greens Fork, Wayne Co, in
1849. Not sure what happened between 1824 and 1849.

Son of Nathan and Minerva was Oscar Lewis Wilson (1853-1921). He
married Sarah Lamb in 1874. Oscar was a United Brethren Minister
in Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, and last in Texas in 1912.

Does anyone have anything on 1824 Washington Co that would
indicate that they first went there and then to Wayne Co? Am I
right thinking that there was no Quakers in Wayne Co? Any other
information that you have on this Wilson family?

Thanks, Noel
