I don't know of any sites, but a nice booklet is "NICKNAMES, Past and
Present", by Christine Rose, Rose Family Association, San Jose, CA,
1995. My 41 page copy is the second edition, and was purchased over
the internet from the New England Historical and Genealogical
Bookstore, http://www.nehgs.org/default.htm.
