Dear Dianna,

This family of KIRK bears a striking resemblance to the family of Kirks I
have recorded in the WICKERSHAM family, except the dates are not quite
congruant (see below). There was another earlier Hannah Wickersham who
married a Jacob Kirk, but I do not have a record of their children. This
Hannah b 1784 m Jacob Kirk prb in the London Grove or New Garden MM. Her
brother, Isaac Wickersham, m twice, once in New Garden and once in West
Grove MH, so I know the family was in that area. Her parents were John
Wickersham and Mary Clark and they were m in the New London MH. The second
Hannah and Jacob are listed below. They were in Newberry Twp. I am trying
to document the earlier couple myself. It is possible that the earlier
couple had a son, Jacob Kirk, who married another Hannah Wickersham. If we
had a KIRK genealogy person, that would help unravel this.
