Today I received a catolog from a health aids supply company, and was
horrified to find a product called Gravestone Cleaner. The
discription of the product reads as follows: Special cleaner for that
special need. just wipe it on, then wipe it off. Easily removes
water spots, dust and dirt. Leaves stone clean and bright without
streaks or film. 16 oz. $5.99. I call the catolog and asked that they
print a warning that this product is NOT to be used on old
gravestones, as the cemicals in the product along with the pressure of
wiping the stone, could hasten the dystruction of the stone.
