I have read that a group of Quakers came from the "northern colonies" and
settled in eastern N.C. but were attacked by Indians and many moved back
north.. I would like to know When this group came to N.C., where they came
from and when the trouble with the Indians happened..Can anyone help me
with this information? Several Harrells settled in the same general area
from 1681 to 1725..I am interested in learning if any of them came from the
"northern Colonies"...Thanks,
