I don't think that this advice is going to be overly useful. Higginson
performs a very fine service of reprinting genealogical works that are
"out of print" or otherwise in the public domain.

Hinshaw's EAQG is still very much "in print" by GPC who I am sure
holds the copyright. It appears that only the soft cover version is currently
offered. Most libraries would utilize a library binding service to rebind into
hard cover.

You might try Higginson's books: http://www.higginsonbooks.com

I ordered a copy covering the NC area about 3 - 4 months ago, and am still
waiting. If you need a book quicker interlibrary loan would be my suggestion.
