My Grandmother Edith May Scantland was the daughter of Mary Jenny
Hunnicut who married Elmer Ellsworth Scantland. They were married in
Economy, Indiana and later came to Nebraska.
Edith was born November 16, 1886. Edith married Earl F. Hartman in
Garrison Ne on February 1, 1915. She died November 19, 1959 in Ulysses,
NE. Her mother Mary Jenny Hunnicutt died March 21, 1937 in Ulysses NE.

Mary was the daughter of J.T. (John Thomas Hunnicutt) and Jane C.
Charles. They lived in Economy Indiana. J.T. was born in Prince George
Co. Virginia and they were married in Cherry Grove M.M. J. T. died in
Economy Indiana January 10, 1907

J.T. was the some of Daniel Hunnicutt and Jane Walthall. Daniel was
born in DinWiddie Co. Virginia. May 11, 1771. He and Jane were Married
June 15, 1811. Daniel died 1852.

Daniel was the son of John Hunnicutt and Mary Butler. John was born in
1738 in Prince George Co. Virginia. He married Mary April 16, 1761.

John was the son of Wake Hunnicutt and Sarah Glaister. Wake was born
1701 in prince George Co. Virginia. He and Sarah were married 1728.
Wake died March 30, 1807

Wake was the son of Robert Hunnicutt. and Margaret Wyke. Robert was
born 1675. He married Margaret in 1699, in Surry Co. Virginia.

Robert was the son of John Hunnicutt and Elizabeth Warren. John was
born in 1650 in Surry Co. Virginia. John and Elizabeth were married
1671. John died April 17, 1699 in Smiths fort, Surry Co. VA

John was the son of Augustine Hunnicutt and Mary Alice Parke. Augustine
was born in 1625 in England. Augustine and Mary Alice were Married in
Surry Co. Virginia in 1663. Augustine died 1683 in Surry Co. Virginia
