The Quakers kept very good records and because they kept these excellent
records that have been preserved; we have documents that we would have
never seen from other churches. Please don't believe that the Quakers
were the only ones who set standards that were to be meet for membership
or to keep membership. They are just the ones that we hear of because
of their excellent record keeping and preservation.
