If this is the Richard Hodgson born in 1761, son of Robert and Rachel
(Mills) Hodgson, he is supposed to have married Elizabeth Irwin or
Erwin. That, at least, is what I find in an unpublished manuscript
by Webster Parry (1848-1936), a well-known Quaker genealogist in
Richmond, Indiana. Interestingly, Richard had a brother David who
also married a woman named Esther Lamb.
