Hi Phyllis,

Thank you for writing that description, it did help.

You wrote that Quakers gave the woman a prominent place in the home, do you
know why there would be walls built up in the quaker community house that is
located close to wear I live to keep the woman and men seperate? A local
historian told me that as we passed by the building. At that time I did not
know I had Quaker Ancestors, so didnt ask anymore about it.
