Scott and Ellen
The Powell Genealogies of Long Island, Birdsall families page shows Samuel b
1687 md. Rose Wright 1716 and 2nd m Sarah Townsend 1726. two of Samuel's
sisters md Townsends. For those interest in all of these other Quaker
families of LI should have not only this Powell booklet, but the Townsend
Memorial reprint.
Which of these various families are you most interested in? We have a
Townsend group working these lines. I'm both a Wright and Townsend
descendant.
Contact me on how to get both of these. I also need to tell you and Jim
about possible upcoming events in Oyster Bay.
Thanks
Lew
