Martin Luther was born in 1483, according to
<http://www.britannica.com/eb/article?eu=114983&tocid=0>.
Luther's contraversy with the Pope seems to have begun in 1517. I'm not
certain what date the Lutheran Church uses for its founding, but it might
be in the 1520s.
Henry VIII of England was born 1491, according to
<http://www.britannica.com/eb/article?eu=40871&tocid=0>.
Henry loathed Luther, and wrote a treatise against him in
1521. Nevertheless, when Henry was excommunicated by the Pope in 1533, no
one in England worried much.
