Subject: [Q-R] STARBUCK vital statistics needed
Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 14:51:00 -0600
List:
I have a copy of a sheet printed from Broderbund's CD titled "Genealogical
Records: The Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy, 1750-1930, Vol V, Miami
Monthly Meeting" On this sheet it gives Quaker information for Silver
Creek Monthly Meetings. I'm not sure what the location of the Miami or
Silver Creek Monthly Meeting was but it must have been in either Ohio or
Indiana. It lists such things as the following under the heading STARBUCK
1817, 11, 26. Uriah & fam gct Silver Creek MM
1820, 9, 27. Dorcas rst with permission of Uxbridge MM, Mass.
1820, 11, 29. William, Almira, Eliza, Howland, Lelilah & Lydia, ch
Charles & Dorcas, rec-rq
1833, 10, 23. Howland, Lydia, Benjamin F. & George, minor ch Charles, gct
Silver MM
Can someone please decode the abbreviations for me?
Also how can I find vital statistics that will prove that Howland STARBUCK
b. Mar. 12, 1816
is the son Charles Thomas STARBUCK b. Apr. 12, 1789? And how can I find
proof of Charles wife's maiden name? I have that she was Dorcas SLADE b.
1791 Nantucket, MA. But the DAR say his wife's last name for HOWLAND.
What sources will give me the information that I need?
Thank you for your assistance.
