According to whom? The early Quakers -- who thought up the idea that you
don't need a minister, priest or reverend to talk with God -- might well have
said, "Yes, it includes them as well." And then they might well have added
that "ministering to the needs" of soldiers so they could go back out and do
the Devil's work (I think Fox said that) was not the sort of mission a
Christian should aspire to. They were self-righteous SOBs but, I think, not
altogether wrong.
