According to my sources two of the children of Joseph & Margaret (Swanson)
Wells were; (1) Rachel, b. 3rd mo. 27, 1720, Prince George Co., Md. Rachel,
d. Dec. 23, 1771, Bush River, Newberry Co., S.C. Rachel mar. John Wright
abt. 1737, Monacacy, Prince George Co., Md.

John & Rachel (Wells) Wright were the parent's of Charity Wright, b. 11th mo.
13, 1744/5, wife of Isaac Cook, b. 1743, son of Thomas & Mary (Underwood)
Cook.

(2) Joseph Wells, (Jr.), b. 5th mo. 20, 1729, Prince George Co., Md., d.
Sept. 30, 1804, Cane Creek, Orange Co., N.C. Joseph mar. 1st. Charity
Carrington, 5th mo. 28, 1750, Fairfax MH, Loudon Co., Va. Joseph mar. 2nd.
Mary (Underwood) Cook, widow of Thomas Cook, May 27, 1758, New Garden MH,
Guilford Co., N.C. Mary (Cook) Wells is recorded as dying in 1794, Bush
River, Newberry Co., S.C., there are no recorded children. Mary was probably
buried at Bush River.
