If there is a short history, I'll probably scan it and put it up on the Cane
Creek Webpage. I do know that they asked us to bring stories for sharing, so I
presume that there will be a collection of those which will most likely become
another book. And we are having a genealogy swap on Saturday. I don't know what
will come from that. I was just trying to decide what to take and what to
leave. My husband said he would bring two boxes from work. I have at least four
boxes worth sitting on the chair. Since I also plan to go by Guilford College to
do some research, I'm not sure if I can really afford to leave any of it
behind..... But I'm sure none of you has ever had that problem.
By the way, Cheska sent a very nice note on behalf of Quaker-Roots. I would like
to thank her and to let the rest of you know that she sent it.
And now I have to get back to packing.....
I'll report in when we get back.
