Humphrey Bangham and Elizabeth Carey married, 31 May
1768 at Old Zion Lutheran Church in Philadelphia. Both
had been Quakers and Elizabeth would rejoin later. The
Carey family was from Plumstead, Bucks Co., PA.

Humphrey Bangham was a widower from Leominster,
Herfordshire, England, a Quaker in England, but didn't
bring a certificate of removal from England. He and
Elizabeth married out of meeting.
