William Wade Hinshaw Pennsylvania Quaker Meeting Records
Concord Monthly Meeting, Vol. I, Selby Publishing &
Printing, 1990.

McCOY
1-1-1753 Mary (form Baker) mou
6-4-1753 Mary chm of mou
2-5-1759 Mary & ch requested cert to New Garden MM
11-27-1817 Ruth rocf Chester MM

I would interpret this to mean that Andrew McCoy was
a non-member and it was Mary who was disowned.

If they had both been Quakers and married at Christ
Church, I would expect that both would have been
complained of for marriage contrary to discipline.
