I'm a new subscriber & wish to post my lines of interest. Looking for any info in the above referenced counties on the names posted. My James Wright moved to Henry Co, IN in early 1800s, married a Lucinda McComas in 1830, Rush Co, IN. They were associated with the M E denomination & James' father, Reuben Wright, was a M E minister in Knightstown, IN. The Wrights were from Brunswick Co, VA, prior to IN & some of Reuben's siblings went to Greene Co, OH. Our family records indicate that Lucinda McC was the mother of my gr gr grandmother, Joannah Gilbert Wright b 1836 in Marion Co, IN or Henry Co, IN. Joannah married Wm M Arbuckle in Clark Co, IL in 1852. In the late 1880s, Joannah & Wm divorced (in Mercer Co, MO or Decatur Co, IA) & Joannah marr an A. G. Wilson. She d of TB in 1906 & is buried in Lancaster Co, Lincoln, NE & is listed as a "widow." Joannah's death cert listed her mother as "Margaret Henley" & the person who signed was a "Mrs. D. Watts." Neither of the!
se ladies names have ever come up in the Wright records that I've seen so far. Now I don't know which one is my 3rd gr grandmother. If anyone has any Henleys or Wrights in this area of IN & could help me with this, it would be much appreciated. I see where the Henley family was primarily Quaker, the Wrights were M E & the Arbuckles were Presbyterian. This could have been a 2nd marriage for James Wright, in which case, Margaret Henley could have had an earlier marriage which just complicates the issue even further.

Thank you very much for any help.
