I have a Kezia SCOVILLE who married a James STEWART in 1737. Kezia was b.
1716 in East Haddam, Ct. James was from Antrim Ireland. They both died New
Milford, Ct. Their daughter, Mary, married John CHAPMAN. They named one of their
daughters "Keziah"
James' parents were Alexander STEWART & Margaret Dixon.
Does anyone know if these were Quakers? James & Kezia's grandson, William
Henry STEWART m. Patience DENTON. I know they were Quakers.
Totally unrelated (no pun intended), a gal in Wal-Mart was wearing a
Keziah nametag. I asked her about it & she said it's an old Biblical name.
