Good evening Cheska and everyone:

I don't have a lot of information on this family yet. I do know that Esther
Thornburgh Littler's son Robert (my great great grandfather) always said she
was born in Ireland and according to his obituary in 1897 that he "was of
Irish descent, at least on his mother's side, she having returned to Ireland
during or after the (Civil) war to take charge of an estate which descended
to her, and having finally died there."

Someone also sent me this information:
Flax List for 1796 in Ireland:
THORNBURG, George - Co. Armagh

That will give me somewhere to look at least.

Other names mentioned in Isabella Thornburgh's Will:

Joseph TODHUNTER - Executor
John McKEEN - Executor

W.G.D. WORTHINGTON - Witness
Nathan GRAFTON - Witness
Fielder ISRAEL - Witness

Perhaps some of those names will show up. Isabella referred to Joseph
Todhunter and John McKeen as "friends" but I don't know if she meant Friends
or just friends.

Thank you for the information you sent. Hopefully I will be able at some
point to tie all of these Thornburghs together. Any additional help would be
most appreciated.
