Ron is right about the lady at the library. To make life easy take I 81 to
Winchester, Rte 7 (aka Berryville Pike) exit west into town. Go straight
through all the lights (easiest not to get lost if you stay to the right lane).
You eventually come to a Left-Right jog putting you on Picadilly. After several
blocks you will see a distinctly different domed building, the Handley
Library. The Archives are open Tuesday through Saturday.
When you have finished with your genealogy research be sure to ask about the
story behind the Library - built in the early 20 C with money willed to
Winchester by a judge who was angry at his home city.
