I am sorry to hear about the loss of so much work.

Have you checked with a local library or genealogy society about saving the
water logged work? I'm sure I read about drying out papers, but I've
forgotten where. Maybe National Archives.

I just returned tonight from sharing some of my finds with some grateful
cousins who are 80+. You are inspiring me to duplicate and share even more.

I just hope someone can help you restore part of the water logged files.
