I agree. I also find that I discover new areas of research to try. It
is well worth looking at the emails that you think do not pertain to you
if you are truly doing serious research on ancestors.

Over time I have found a number of "in-laws" or been able to flesh out
some
of my lateral lines from information I have found in messages with names
in
subject lines I thought had nothing to do with me. Each little nugget
we find
like that is worth the bit of time it takes to open and glance through

e-mail.
