Two cases:

At the mtg held 19-2mo (Apr) 1735 OS, W Nottingham PM rptd that Margaret BERRY, widow of Samuel BERRY, "is mou by ("a priest") to a man whom she had ye allowance of W Nottingham PM to propose their marriage, to our last MM, but for some reasons could not pass at ye said mtg, upon which she was immediately married as above." John WHITE & Thomas BROWN are apptd to visit her.

What is 'ye' ? understand the other abbreviations... but am stumped at ye... not yearly meeting...

Second case:

At the Mtg held 20-7-1735 Margaret BERRY (alias MEDCALF) made ack of her mou, which was acc" (Maryland Quaker Records: Nottingham Monthly Meeting, Cecil County, Book F - 1808-1836)

What is meant by 'alias medcalf' -- I tend to think Medcalf is the name of Maragets's husband, mentioned in the previous entry. But could it be her maiden name?

Thanks for any info
