I have Barbara T. POLATTY (b 1818) as wife to George Fred Quattleaum. Unproven, but possible I have the following on Barbara's line: Her parents were George POLATTY (b 1797) and Matilda COURSEY (b 1798). Moreover, George Polatty's parents appear to be John M. POLATTY and Barbara Maria FLICK/FLECK/FLEEK. Barbara Flick's parents are Johannes FLICK and Sabrina (?). The last relationship and the fact Barbara Flick married John M. Polatty is proven by a will of John Fleek/Fleck/Flick.

Someone sent me undocumented information that Qeorge Washington Quattlebaum's wife was Mary SEALY.

No one seems to have a hint as to the name of Johannes Quattlebaum's wife.

My questions:
1) Does anyone have any proof of the above relationships or contrary evidence as to wives' maiden names?

2) Does any further information on Matilda Coursey and Mary Sealy exist (assuming for the moment there is a connection)?

3) What about Johannes Quattlebaum's and Johannes Flick's wives? Any further information there?

Please- the above are educated speculations, not proven lines so don't use any of this information as fact.

I will be happy to share what I have on these speculations.
