You seem to know something I don't about the first marriage of George
Herbecke with a lady named Scheffer. I never seen it anywhere. Can you light
up my lantern about it please. Does she has a link with Andreas SCHAEFFER
who was in the Barner regiment ? Schaeffer became Cheves, Cheffre at
St-Benoit area.

Georges Herbecke died on March 24th 1810 aged 70 at St-Benoit. I also found
Andre Cheves (I think it's Andreas Schaeffer) who died on June 21st 1814 by
drowning at the age of 69 years old at St-Benoit either.
