Please do not take my brief 'thanks' as lack of appreciation! The simple
fact is that I must gather more information!

I am indeed a descendant of a Catholic French-German-Belgian family named
Billion. The grandfather of my grandfather ( Hendrik/Henri Billion) was
indeed named Jacob. But he was born in Antwerp in 1777. Jacob's father,
Matyheus, was born in Aschaffenburg and came from a large family whose
father was French. While I can trace this family back much further than
1776, I cannot link Jacob, born in Hanau, to my family without asking the
assistance of my German-Belgian relatives. I have sent them the
information I received from Dominique.

Please rest assured that as I find more information I will send it along to
all of you!
