Hi Diane,

I finally found Emile Cliche & Dora's marriage yesterday at the FCGSC
"French-Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut" in Tolland, CT.

They married on September 02, 1913 at Notre-Dame d'Ottawa, Ontario, Canada,
per their repertoire.

The listing is as follows:

J.A. Emile CLICHE-dit-JEANNEAU (Magloire & Marie VEILLIEUX)

m. 2 September 1913

d.e. - Edna (de) LADURANTAYE (Joseph & Jane CONWAY)

His parents:

Magloire Cliche-dit-Jeanneau (Francois & Angelique GROLEAU)
m. January 14, 1873 @ St-Joseph-de-Beauce, Quebec
Marie Veilleux (Elzear & Helene CLOUTIER)

I have the rest of the CLICHE line back to the pioneer, and am very curious
as to how Emile is the great great grandnephew of Father Marquette.

Can you fill me in on that story? I'd love to know where the connection is,
since Emile is my second cousin, twice removed.

Regards,
Linnie
