Felix L. Daignault 1916 - 2002 HOLYOKE, MA - Mr. Felix L. Daignault, 86, of
110 Cherry St. in Holyoke, died on Friday, June 28, 2002 at the Holyoke
Hospital. Before his retirement, he was employed as a carpenter by local
building contractors. He was born in Holyoke on January 10, 1916, the son of
the late Archille and Elise (Briand) Diagnault, and was a lifelong resident
of Holyoke. He was a longtime communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church
in Holyoke. He was a member and past treasurer of the United Commercial
Travelers, Holyoke Council 571. He was also a member of the Carpenters Union
Local 108, and the Western Massachusetts area distributor for the Shaklee
Brand of Vitamins for many years. His wife, the former Beatrice L. Bruneault,
died on February 2, 1993. He leaves his son, Paul A. Daignault and his wife
Elizabeth of Holyoke; also his daughter, Elaine M. Godek of Pensecola,
Florida. Another son, Richard J. Daignault, died in 1980. He leaves his
daughter-in-law, Joan Daignault of Holyoke. He leaves two grandchildren,
Michele Lovell of Chicopee and Bryan Daignault of Holyoke; and one
great-granddaughter, Kayla Lovell of Chicopee. His funeral will be held on
Tuesday morning, July 2, 2002 at 9:15 a.m. from the Arthur J. Brunelle
Funeral Home at 811 Chicopee St. in the Willimansett section of Chicopee,
followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate
Conception Church in Holyoke. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery in
South Hadley. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be on Monday from 4
p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Life Care, 28
Appleton St., Holyoke, MA 01040; or to the Holyoke Soldiers Home Activity
Fund, 110 Cherry St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
