Theresa Provencal
ROCHESTER - Theresa I. Provencal, 79, of 222 Wyandotte Falls, died Monday,
Sept. 1, 2003, at her residence, following a period of failing health.
She was born in Somersworth on July 15, 1924, the daughter of Henry and
Josephine (Chabot) Routhier.
She was educated in Somersworth schools and had resided here for 54 years
before moving to Chocorua in 1978, where she lived for 15 years. She resided
in Rochester the past 10 years.
She had been employed at General Electric for 20 years until her retirement
in 1978. She enjoyed doing crafts.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Provencal, in 1985; two sons,
Ernest Provencal Jr. and Peter Provencal; and two brothers, Arthur Routhier
and Paul Routhier.
Survivors include a son, Paul Provencal and his wife, Linda of Rochester;
two daughters, Pat Davis and her husband, Jeff of Chocorua and Pauline
Camire and her husband, Roger of Floral City, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; 40
great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
