Subject: Question about Priesthood

I recently received pictures of some family members. One of the pictures is
of a Alphonse Boardway from Upper State NY. The other pictures are of
family members at his Ordination in Upper State NY.

A few questions I have :

Does a Priest change his name when he is Ordained, like a Nun would when she
takes her Vows?

I know he was ordained in Upper State NY, anyone know how I could go about
finding out where and when?
I believe he was Ordained in the late 70's or early 80's, this I attained by
the pictures as my Grandfather Faucher, with some of his siblings are in
these pictures, too.

I believe he is still living, or he was as of 1999. His Aunt Rena (Boardway)
Trim was a housekeeper at his rectory at the time of her passing. I
contacted the Dioceses in Ogdensburg, but the lady I spoke with said that
she didn't know a Alphonse Boardway and she had only been there a couple of
years.

Is there anyway of finding a Priest who may still be living?

Any help pointing me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate.
