Hello listers --

I need help anyone can provide on the parents of Sophie Chaguier.

On page 116, (item #2) of Fr. Chiniquy's Ledger, her parents are indicated
as
LAURENT CHAGUIER and SOPHIE DESLISLE. Sophie (daughter) married
Antoine Faucher on 26 Jul, 1852. I don't know if Sophie was their
first child or not, so can only make some "assumptions" that:

1) she was around 20 + or - a few years when she married Antoine.

2) if she was the first child, that would put Laurent and Sophie (mother)
somewhere around 40 when Sophie (daughter) married.

3) if that is the case, they would have been born "around" 1812 + or - a
few
years.

So, probably need to check 1800 through 1812 for the parents DOB's.
I also don't know if they were born in Quebec or France -- "assuming"
Quebec. Sorry, but this is the best I can come up with.
